As a small business owner in a niche market (distributor of industrial sewing threads and crepe sewing tapes) it is essential that we think and operate within a futures context to maximize our growth and success.
What projects are you working on?
Impacts of sustainability measures on our customer base, how our ability to read weak signals and trends can become a value-added service to our customers, supplier diversity, and how to maintain and grow relationships and establish networks in tough economic times using technology. On a personal level, I'm passionate about building the capacities among citizen-leaders and elected officials for collaborative politics, using social networking, particularly Politics4All.com. (As a former economic developer, it's sort of in my blood.)

(The company website at tssip.com is under construction...just a filler page for now...but we'll be using a lot of new technologies on the site to communicate...will keep you posted.)
What is your alma matter?
Lipscomb University / Economic Development Institute
Why did you join Community Transformer? What are you hoping to experience here?
Long time fan of Rick's work and COTF. Love to be inspired and engaged with similarly-minded people, to learn from their experiences and apply toward my areas of influence.
